I wanted to let everyone know how lucky we are to be living in such a wonderful town like Berthoud.

Everything seems to be getting more and more expensive, and nothing seems to be quite as easy as it used to be. Just take last week, when I had been gone all day and walked into my home and found that my dog had become very, very sick. One of the things I needed to attend to right away (after a $200 vet bill) was an oriental rug. At first, 1 thought about calling a “chain” rug cleaning business. After further contemplation, I figured why not give one of the local businesses a call.

Phil Auserehl of Castle Cleaning & Oriental Rug Company, was very accommodating so I left the rug with him. His expertly trained dog Dude’ was able to pinpoint all the problem areas. I got a call to pick it up today, and to my surprise, Phil did not charge me a thing. I can’t tell you how warm and fuzzy that made me feel. I know how tough it is to make ends meet these days -1 can’t even imagine how hard it must be for a business. If you can, please consider giving our local shops a shot at your business. You might get a nice surprise in doing so!
